I am a "trash to treasure" kind of gal! I hate seeing things being thrown away and not used to it's fullest. I love the thrill of the hunt and spend time in local thrift stores, flea markets and dumpsters! If it can be painted, cut, embellished, stitched, broken, fixed... or just enjoyed as it is...
I also love creating from scratch, original designs to decorate a living space. One should be surrounded by things that make them smile. I love creating things that remind you of times gone by and things that will be cherished for years.
Thanks for letting me share my treasures with you!

Thanks for commenting on my blog... I think the same thing is happening here, too. My assignment this week was to find a landscape to photograph. Well, it's winter here and the only color out there right now is brown and white. Most of the barns around here seem to be white. Growing up back east, the barns were red. So, when I saw this, I just had to take a photo! I would love to turn an old (RED) barn into my home!
I am off to your blog... thanks again for hopping over to mine!
Your barn picture makes me want to be there today! I love barns and country life & barns usually smell like horses which I love. Thanks for stopping by my blog today and the sweet comment that you left. I enjoyed stopping by your blog too. I love all things vintage as we11. I commented on the inspired room blog about my aqua mason jar find for .25 cents at a thrift store, you never know what you will find! Have fun looking!

Love the old barn!!...I went looking for old barns to photograph and only found one. We live in east Texas and I guess they have all been torn down.
